We connect with individuals personally impacted by domestic violence through comprehensive services designed to facilitate safety and the journey to a violence-free life. On the community level, we reach out in a creative and comprehensive way to educate on the many facets of domestic violence and build the commitment and skills needed to eradicate this crime.

LEGAL ADVOCACY SERVICES

Legal advocacy services ensure that survivors seeking legal relief from the violence they are experiencing have trained and compassionate Counseling Advocates to guide you through the process. We assist clients with preparing temporary protection orders and accessing additional resources needed to move you towards a violence free life. Dragonfly Warriors provides a holistic approach to survivor care that focuses on the needs of survivors in their entirety, recognizing that these needs are interdependent. Our Counselor Advocate services are designed to facilitate your recovery from trauma. We are here to support you!

THE HISTORY OF “GIRL’S STAND-UP PROJECT”

In reflection of past years, we recognized the imperative need for increased support for young girls. At the heart of our mission lies an unwavering commitment to empower these girls, nurturing their resilience, confidence, and personal growth. Drawing strength from the transformative impact of the Girls Stand Up Project, our comprehensive plan is devoted to amplifying our dedication, ensuring sustained support, and creating meaningful opportunities for every young girl on her unique journey.

Dragonfly Warriors Youth Ambassador Council

The Dragonfly Warriors Youth Ambassador Council is a community movement of high school teens stepping up to help for Safe and Healthy Neighborhoods. Teen Ambassador Program also provides community service hours to incoming 9th-12th graders. At Dragonfly Warriors Youth Ambassador Council, we are dedicated to cultivating a world where the voices of young people are not only heard but actively shape the present and future, fostering a legacy of positive change and empowerment.

OUTREACH & PREVENTION EDUCATION

Our Outreach & Prevention Education provides the community with information on how to recognize domestic violence, support survivors and we commit to stopping violence before it starts. Through resources in evidence-based prevention strategies that work to break the cycle of violence. We provide education to children from Elementary to High School, as well as training and workshops.
